    For the Love of a Book, Week 16

    My “For the Love of a Book” series is back!! Mostly because I’m back. I still don’t think many are reading my blog (and that’s a crying shame because it’s awesome) but I’m going to keep resolutely pushing forward! I’ve been doing a lot of reading this summer and so today I am going to recommend an author, rather than one particular book. I don’t know how I missed this author and his books but I read one this summer and fell.in.love! Then I read his other four books in like a week. They are that good. His name is Alan Gratz.     For the Love of a Book, Week 14

    It’s time for another installment of “For the Love of a Book!” And I know you’re super-duper excited. I’m going to attempt to keep this one short because I have a zillion errands to run today (I’m hunting all the Goodwills in a 30 mile radius for camo cargo pants for my time traveler costume) so here we go! Today’s book recommendation is actually another Goodwill find. I swear, I cannot go into a Goodwill and not come out with at least 5 books. According to my records on LibraryThing, I have 549 books in my classroom library.     For the Love of a Book, Week 10

    Wow! Hard to believe that we are already at Week 10 in the For the Love of a Book series. This is a series that will probably never end since I have over 400 books in my classroom library – I have a lot to recommend!! Today, we’re looking at a book series that I first wrote about back in August of last year. I didn’t focus a whole post on the series, though, so I’m going to do that today.
